Why a Specialist?

Every Fertility Specialist at Houston Fertility Institute is Trained in Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility

Our Expertise, Our Passion

It is very important for all our patients to know that every one of our physicians is a dedicated fertility specialist and has completed subspecialty training in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. That distinction means that our physicians have, at minimum, completed the following:

  • 4 years of undergraduate education
  • 4 years of medical school
  • 4 years of residency training in General Obstetrics & Gynecology
  • 3 years of fellowship training in Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility
  • Multiple board exams and state/national certifications along the way

Completing all this training means that your provider has devoted his or her career to reproductive health and is well trained to perform a wide variety of procedures including:

  • Intrauterine Insemination (IUI)
  • In Vitro Fertilization (IVF)
  • Assisted Reproductive Technologies (ART)
  • Egg freezing (elective oocyte cryopreservation)
  • Oncofertility (fertility and cancer)
  • Polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS)
  • Recurrent miscarriage and pregnancy loss
  • Irregular menstrual cycles
  • Endometriosis
  • Uterine fibroids
  • Male infertility and abnormal semen testing
  • Fertility preservation (cancers or other condition)
