DR. DANIEL WILLIAMS: I decided to become a physician as a teenager, after observing my uncle in his medical practice. This prompted me to attend the University of Missouri Kansas City 6-year Medical School where I obtained my degree at the age of 23. I did my residency at King-Drew Medical Center in Los Angeles in obstetrics and gynecology. There I became interested in the field of reproductive endocrinology and fertility and completed a fellowship at UCLA Cedar Sinai Medical Center in this area. After finishing fellowship I joined the faculty at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. There I not only served as the IVF Director, but also became an associate professor and was intimately involved in cutting-edge research in the area of infertility. I was recruited after 12 years to the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine where I served as the Medical Director of their IVF program. I am proud to be a member of the Houston Fertility Institute. Our goals are very simple—to provide individualized care in a caring, compassionate environment giving patients their best chances to achieve their dreams of having a child.
