Dr. Gus Haddad - Medical Director
Dr. Haddad is the medical director at Houston Fertility Institute. He obtained his medical degree from the American University of Beirut, where he became a member of the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. He then completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. After his residency, Dr. Haddad went on to complete his fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center.
He is board certified in both obstetrics and gynecology, as well as reproductive endocrinology-infertility and also serves as assistant clinical professor at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Texas. Dr. Haddad joined Houston Fertility Institute to help cope with the rapidly expanding fertility practice in the Houston metropolitan area. He has authored multiple book chapters and peer reviewed articles, as well as presented original research in the field of infertility at national meetings.
Dr. Jason Griffith - Practice Director
Dr. Griffith completed his residency and fellowship in reproductive endocrinology at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He completed his undergraduate degree at Texas A&M University and he also earned a master's degree in physical therapy from Baylor University. After serving six years in the U.S. Army Medical Specialist Corps, he returned to Texas to complete medical school at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.
During medical school, he earned the McNutt and Klein awards for academic achievement and was inducted to the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. He has published in peer-reviewed journals, as well as presented original research at national meetings. He is a fellow in the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology as well as reproductive endocrinology-infertility.
Dr. Josh Skorupski – Director of Genetics & Oncofertility
Dr. Skorupski completed his undergraduate degree in chemistry at Binghamton University in New York prior to attending medical school at the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology in Haifa, Israel. He returned to New York to complete his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at St. Luke’s- Roosevelt Hospital in Manhattan. He then attended Baylor College of Medicine to complete his clinical genetics training, followed by a fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at the University of Michigan. Dr. Skorupski’s clinical interests include the psychological impact of infertility treatments, fertility preservation in cancer patients and rare genetic syndromes.
Dr. Skorupski has authored numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals and has presented his work nationally. He recently won first place for best oral presentation by a fellow for the Michigan division of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists in 2011. Dr. Skorupski recently joined Houston Fertility Institute to bring a unique clinical genetics background to the wide variety of expertise. He is a fellow in the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology.
Dr. Daniel B. Williams - Medical Director
Dr. Williams received both his undergraduate degree in biology and his medical degree from The University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine. He completed residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at King-Drew Medical Center in Los Angeles and completed his fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at UCLA/Cedars Sinai Medical Centers. Following his training, Dr. Williams joined the faculty at Washington University School of Medicine as an associate professor and the medical director of the IVF program. He then served as a professor of obstetrics and gynecology and the medical director for the Center for Reproductive Health at The University of Cincinnati School of Medicine.
Dr. Williams is the recipient of numerous teaching awards and has also been repeatedly named one of the Best Doctors in America. In 2009, Dr. Williams joined Houston Fertility Institute where he also serves as the Director of the Egg Donor Program. He is a fellow in the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology as well as reproductive endocrinology-infertility.
Dr. Craig A. Witz - Director of Clinical Research
Dr. Craig Witz did his undergraduate studies at Harvard University where he graduated with honors and attended medical school at The Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. He completed both his ob-gyn residency and reproductive fellowship at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio where he was a faculty member in the division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility and became and served as the Chief of the division.
Dr. Witz is board certified in both obstetrics and gynecology, as well as reproductive endocrinology-infertility. He has done extensive research in the area of endometriosis and has won multiple awards for his publications evaluating its’ pathogenesis. Dr. Witz joined the team at Houston Fertility Institute to assist with the growth of the practice and brings his many years of experience to the care of his patients.

Dr. Sandra Bello - Chief of Reproductive Surgery
Dr. Bello is a Medical Director at Houston Fertility Institute. She received her undergraduate degree from San Francisco State University before obtaining her medical degree from Michigan State University. Dr. Bello then proceeded to perform her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia. After residency, she returned to California to complete her fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology at the University of Southern California Women’s and Children’s Hospital.
Dr. Bello is a member of both the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the American Society for Reproductive Medicine. In addition, she has received numerous awards and is trained in the latest techniques and procedures in the treatment of infertility.
Dr. Jimmy Gill - Medical Director
Houston Fertility Institute's expert medical team includes Dr. Jimmy Gill, a reproductive endocrinologist and the medical director of the center. Dr. Gill graduated from the University of Houston and received his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston.
After completing his residency in obstetrics and gynecology in New York City, he completed a fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at Rush Presbyterian - St. Luke's Medical Center in Chicago. Dr. Gill is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Prior to Houston Fertility Institute, Dr. Gill practiced with one of the largest infertility clinics in the Midwest. He has also served as the associate professor of the Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Department at Michigan State University. Dr. Gill has authored and been published in many professional journals as well as presented research and findings at numerous industry conferences.
Dr. Wei-Hua Wang - IVF Laboratory Director
Dr. Wang serves as the laboratories’ PhD director, embryologist, and andrologist for the in-vitro fertilization laboratories at Houston Fertility Institute. He earned his doctorate in reproductive physiology from Okayama University in Japan. Dr. Wang has worked in embryology and infertility laboratories for 20 years and was a supervisor in multiple laboratories including Women and Infants Hospital, Brown University School of Medicine, New England Medical Center, and Tufts University School of Medicine before joining the staff at Houston Fertility Institute.
Dr. Wang has proficient skills in manipulating human embryos including IVF, ICSI, assisted hatching, and cryopreservation of gametes and embryos. His infertility research has been widely recognized both nationally and internationally.
Dr. Karen E. Krause
Dr. Krause is a licensed clinical psychologist who has been practicing in the Houston area since 1993. After receiving her doctorate from California School of Professional Psychology in Los Angeles, California, with a proficiency in health and medicine, she completed her internship at the Houston VAMC and her post-doctoral training with Behavioral Healthcare Associates in Houston. For the past 14 years, Dr. Krause has worked exclusively with individuals who are struggling to cope with medical conditions.
Dr. Stuart J. Nathan
Dr. Stuart J. Nathan has been practicing as a licensed clinical psychologist in the Houston area since 1987. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Indiana University, a master’s degree from Loyola University in Chicago and a doctorate from Texas A&M University – all in psychology. He completed his internship at the Houston VMAC with a specific interesting in working with patients with various medical conditions. Dr. Nathan is the co-founder of Behavioral HealthCare Associates in Houston which is a group of licensed doctoral and master’s level therapists specializing in specific psychological issues unique to the medical patient. He also works with couples and individuals with depression, anxiety and relationship issues.
